Date of Event: 12 May 2026 - 12 May 2026

ResWORK Research Showcase at Rising Scholars Fellowship Programme 2026

ResWORK was pleased to participate in the Rising Scholars Fellowship Programme (RSFP) 2026 organised by SMU’s College of Graduate Research Studies (CGRS), through a Research Showcase segment held on 12 May 2026 at the Li Ka Shing Library, Singapore Management University.

Representing ResWORK, Associate Professor Jared Nai — Pillar Lead for Transforming Organisations and Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, delivered an introduction to the institute’s research work as part of the morning programme.

The showcase provided RSFP participants with an overview of ResWORK’s interdisciplinary research agenda and highlighted selected areas of organisational research under the Transforming Organisations pillar. Tailored to an audience of aspiring researchers and prospective PhD students, the session also offered insights into the collaborative research environment at SMU and the opportunities for doctoral students to engage in impactful research alongside faculty members.

The Rising Scholars Fellowship Programme is a one-week immersion initiative designed to introduce high-potential bachelor’s and master’s students from global universities to postgraduate research opportunities at SMU.

ResWORK is honoured to contribute to initiatives that support emerging scholars and foster greater engagement with research addressing the future of work, organisations and resilient workplaces.

SPEAKER: Jared Nai, Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources; Pillar Lead (Transforming Organisations) of Resilient Workforces Institute (ResWORK)

Special thanks to SMU’s College of Graduate Research Studies (CGRS) for inviting ResWORK to be part of the event.
